Interviews and Newspapers

My mornings are all about threes - three eggs, three cups of coffee, and three newspapers. For those of you that know me, the former probably come as no surprise, but the later is indeed unusual. For the last couple of months, I have been saying current with the news by reading the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and the News Gazette. Why so much print? I'm not really sure, but I offer up curiosity, perhaps, as a plausible answer.

My fascination with journalism in these last couple months has been increased even more of late as I have had the pleasure of interviewing with two different journalists in the Champaign area. One works for an online magazine, the other for the student newspaper at the University of Illinois. The articles:


It's nerve-racking doing an interview and then grabbing the newspaper in the morning to see how you were quoted. While I have my disputes and displeasures with each of the articles above, overall, I was pleased and honored to have our group deemed worthy of discussion in local print.
